Bodywork

Our Turbo came with a modest accident damage. Modest means repairable, but still very bad: the weight of the rear compartment distorted everything. In this case the most delicate job was to p ut every part back where it was originally. For this reason, we replaced the left inner wing, the front apron, and the front part of the floor including the suspension joints.
Even the thoroughest examination did not came up with any rust, down to the most precise and hi end factory job. To save the original anti corrosion treatment, we only blasted the body by sections. On the underside the original protective layer was only cleaned and but not removed. New fresh layers applied and paint spayed on.
Some leading finished the work.

The nearly-good inner wing.

And the one, that was finally put on.

We no not like blasting at the end, but this time it was the only way to go. We did all the efforts to keep the particles from entering the closed sections of the body.

At the end, we did some investigations with a borendoscope. With less than jolly results.

Priming and a new layer of chip protection...

... followed by the color.

Some leading on the wing.

Finishing the gaps.
