Inspection

As we knew, the car had a collosion, and the body was damaged. When we inspected the car, we tried to reconstruct the event to be able to find out how the body was distorted.

The front wheels showed clear signs of heavy braking. The left front end was damaged. The gaps around the bonnet showed that the rear end has moved out of center.

Soo, we now think, that the car was driven at high speed, when someting happened, and the driver started an emergency braking. (S)he could not manage to stop, and hit something at a modest speed, maybe 30-40kmh. At the collosion, the left front end receiced a primary damage, and it collapsed a bit. The left front door post came invards, the left side of the dash came up a bit. As the weight of the car was transfered to the front at braking, the rear end went up, and at the collosion this resulted in the back end bending down, and left as the engine mass stopped.

Now we have the problem to cure this body, and to starighten everything very carefully. This is a very strong car, it needs to be right at ech measuring points.
