Imago

The first step in a restoration is always documentation. The second must be the vision of the final goal. To make it easy, I usualy paint a sample for the owner and myself to get  hint how the car will look like. I dont thrust in prepainted samples, as they are ususaly quite a few miles from the actual color/dimension, soo I go for a good looking scale modell, and finish it by hand.
At this car I bought a realy-realy good modell, which was neary spot-on. It only needed a repaint.

The original color of the car was Felsengrün Metalic (699), with grey green interior. Quite rare combination. The picture is not realy telling the story, it is a bit more greenish in reality.
